What Is Going On?

Hello Everyone

It has been a while since I last posted on WA. A lot of things have happened and the last few months haven't been easy for me. But I thought it is time for an update to let everyone know what is going on and where I have been.

Let's get into it

Where Have I Been?

It has been about 4 months or so since I last posted but I haven't really gone anywhere. I have still been logging into WA each day to check notifications if nothing else.

I have been going through a tough time with my mental health and a break down of major relationship with a family member in March 2024 really took it's toll on me. I had a major falling out with someone close to me in my family back in March this year and they are now out of my life for good but I'm still hurt and upset over the whole ordeal.

Surprisingly I still remained active on my business for a few weeks after that. I took about week or so off to get my heard together and then resumed business as normal. But a few weeks later in early May 2024 something changed in me.

Not long after that I suddenly lost motivation for all things business and wasn't interested anymore. I logged out of WA and my business and for about 2 or 3 months I had no interest in it. I have no idea what happened.

At first I thought it was writer's block but then realized it was something different. It was like I was stuck in a constant loop of no motivation to keep working on my business even though it's something I like, enjoy and care about.

I even asked Kyle for his opinion and he got back to me quickly with a good answer as usual but it didn't really help me understand what was going on with me because Kyle wasn't sure either.

About a month later nothing had changed and I was spending most of my time playing games without a care for my business or doing anything productive. It got to the point that I almost quit WA. By this time Partha and Phil had already left WA.

I even got to the point of thinking well if Partha, Phil and other valuable WA members are quitting then what am I still doing here? I almost pulled the plug and left WA but there was only one thing keeping me here and in all honesty it was my yearly membership that was keeping me here and stopped me from quitting because it doesn't run out until December.

So in a way it was my saving grace and I'm really glad I have a yearly membership with WA. After that things continued in a similar way for a few more weeks and then in late July 2024 I started to slowly feel like working again but I took it slowly in baby steps. It was then when I started to figure out what went wrong and what happened to me.

What Actually Happened To Me?

After some hard thinking it clicked to me the problem was my mental health combined with me working too hard previously on my business burnt me out.

I was putting in long hours and stressing out if I didn't a task or post done by the deadline I set. I was pushing myself way too hard and at times probably worrying for nothing.

All of this burnt me out and resulted in me not working for the last 4 months but the good news is I now have my motivation back and have made my comeback.

How Did I Make My Comeback?

In late July 2024 I slowly started to get my mojo back but a only a little bit. One day I woke up and was missing my business so my first step was to check in. I came online, checked WA like I was still doing each day and then checked out my business for the first time in months.

I didn't do any work I just looked to see how things were going and if anything happened during my long period of inactivity. I then started to work out my comeback. I ended up leaving my business alone for a bit longer and started with baby steps.

I started getting back into things by spending more time on WA each day. I spent at least 30 to 60 minutes on WA each day doing things like reading blog posts, watching videos and leaving some comments.

A few days later I was feeling really good and became even more active on WA and soon got my WA rank back up. It was went down a fair bit due to my inactivity but now I'm back in the top 50 which I'm happy with and I think it is a good place to be.

After a week or two of doing this I felt ready to work on my business again so I logged into it and started working again for the first time in 4 months. I continued from where I left off and finished the blog post I started before I stopped working, Then after that I did a new blog post the next day.

From the rest came along nicely I got back into my usual posting routine of 2 to 3 blog posts per week. The funny thing is I'm still putting in almost as many hours as I was before but I'm really enjoying it now. A few small changes I made is I have not been pushing myself as hard nor have I been stressing much about deadlines.

I also take the time to have a bit of time out if I start to feel or anxious or stressed and I have been taking a step back when needed. For example on Friday I was very tired so I decided to take the day off and rest up and continue working the next day which worked out well and I still got my blog post finished in time to line up with my usual posting schedule.

It has been working out really well for me and I think changing my approach to my work and not been so stressed about it has really helped me. So I'm going to continue approaching it in this way from now on.

What Have I Been Up To Recently?

Since returning to working on my website daily in early August I have been very busy which is why I haven't posted on WA sooner even though I wanted to. I have been focusing on creating content on my website.

I do have a lot of other tasks on my to do list for my website, social media and my other websites but I'm not stressing about that this time either. My main focus for the next few weeks or so is going to be continuing to create new content on my main website like I have been while posting on WA when I have time.

I will get around to all the tasks on my to do list slowly when I have the time and I will approach them all one at a time.

I have also been spending some time watching videos on YouTube about WordPress and running an online business. I made a major change to my website the other day. It's nothing new but is something I should have done a long time ago. I'm going to talk more about this in a future blog post.

One other thing I have done recently is I have went on a bit of journey and tried out a few make money online products and it is also something I'm going to be posting about in future blog posts on my WA blog.

Aside from this and usual daily tasks in the offline world I have just been working and enjoying my online business and creating new content as I already mentioned.

What Am I Going To Do Next?

You might be wondering what I'm going to be doing next from here. Well I actually already know and I have a simple plan. For the next few weeks or maybe the next couple of months I will be just focusing on creating content on my main website.

On the side I will post on WA when I have some spare time. I also got answers about my mental health in early 2024 which is something I have been wanting to post about on my WA blog but have never gotten around to it.

But my next blog post is going to be in a few days either later this week or sometime early next week. I will be discussing my mental health in more detail in my next blog post and in the one after that I will be discussing the changes I made to my website that I mentioned earlier. After that's out of the way I will post about other business related things. I'm going to try to post more often on WA but I'm not exactly sure how often as of yet.

But as always I will keep everyone updated on my progress and I will also post if anything exciting happens with my online business. I will also continue to be active on WA for a bit each day and I might also tackle some of the social media tasks and other small tasks on my to do list if I feel up to it and when I have the time.

That's pretty much my plan going forward for now and I do have many more things I want to post about and share with the WA community.

Conclusion

In conclusion it's been a tough few months for me but it is great to be back into things. I learned a lot during this time and it feels good to have things going my way for a change. I'm also enjoying being active in the WA community again and some of you have probably noticed me commenting and helping people more often lately which is because I'm now back into things.

I'm happy that I got things figured out and that I have simple plan in motion. Burn out combined with mental health issues is a terrible thing so do I hope this blog post helps someone. I would like to thank you all for reading I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences in the comments below.

That concludes this blog post about what has been going on with me. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and got something out of it. Stay tuned for more post blog posts from me soon which will likely be later this week or some time early next week as I said earlier in this blog post. Thank you for reading and I look forward to hearing your thoughts in the comments.

For the past months, the energies on this planet have shifted. Situations were created to cause many to pause. Including me.

In the past, I would work hard, creating new content, on my websites. I alternate that with writing my new book. But I did not feel the desire to do either task during the past few months.

What did I do instead? I decided to improve the structure of my website. Also, update the main pages. As for the book, it was on hold. I only restarted to continue the outline last week.

I did wonder about what happened the past months and why I felt the need to pause, to reflect, to slow down. In my meditations, I was given the insights that there was an energy shift. Those sensitive would feel the need to slow down and pause. This is to allow the adjustment to the new energies.

This is just my view and what I learned. I believe it to be possibly true.

Now, I am slowly getting back to doing more. But very slowly. For example, I taught a class last 2 days. And for the rest of the week, I intend rest a lot. Perhaps work on the outline of my book when I feel the desire to do so.

I hope this helps?

Tim
