I Made My First eBook Sale

Hello Everyone

I have some good news to share and I have made some more progress with my business. I have been working hard on my business the last couple of weeks and during this time I have gotten a bit of traction and some small success including my first eBook sale.

So I wanted to write this blog post to share the good news and also share what I have been up to the last couple of weeks with my business.

My First eBook Sale

Two days ago I made my first eBook sale and a few hours later I made another one meaning I have made 2 eBook sales now. They were both on Amazon and from different countries. One sale was from the US and the other one was from the UK.

Today I received $7.27 from Amazon KDP in my bank account which is the money I made from the 2 sales. I have my eBook listed for $5 but Amazon takes their fees as usual which is why I only got $7.27. But that didn't matter to me and I was very happy that I made these sales.

I have had my eBook listed on Payhip and Amazon KDP since December 2022 when I first published it. I haven't done anything to promote it since some post I did after publishing it and never made any sales until now. I wasn't expecting this to happen but I'm very happy that it did and I still can't believe I made my first eBook sale.

I hope the people that bought it will be happy with and leave a review once they have read it. I have had some display issues with KDP so I'm hoping that it was just on my end and my eBook will display fine on their devices. But whatever happens from here I'm still very happy to have made these sales and I do hope I will be able to make some eBook sales in the future.

Another Small Earning

I have also a couple of other small achievements recently since I last did a blog post here on WA. The first one is that I got my second WA referral a few days after the first one but nothing since then but I'm still happy that I have a couple of WA referrals which could make me money in the future.

The second thing I achieved recently is I got a bit of success with the eBay affiliate program. Last week I noticed I had 50 cents in earnings and after checking where it came from I found it was action earnings. So I looked into it further and discovered that it means someone mostly likely bid on auction or something of that nature using one of my affiliate links.

But that person either didn't buy anything or did so after the cookie stopped tracking them which is why I didn't make a sale and get a bigger commission. In case you are wondering the cookie duration is only 24 hours with the eBay affiliate program which is quite annoying but there is not much I can do about it.

But I'm still happy that this happened and I was quite excited by this achievement. I will be continuing to work hard on my business and I hope more success like this will follow in the future.

What Else Have I Been Up To?

The main thing I have been up to over the last couple of weeks is working hard on my business. I'm fully back into things now but have been a bit quiet on WA because I have been spending most of my time working on content and other things for my business.

I have still been logging in to WA each day to check notifications and new followers as well as read a blog post or watch a video from time to time. The main thing that has been keeping me busy is writing new content consistently on my website. During the last week of March I got 4 blog posts written and published and this week I have done and published another 2 blog posts.

I plan to keep writing and publishing at least 2 blog posts on my website each week and in my spare time I will be focusing on social media which is something else I have been doing. I finally decided to try out scheduling posts and I actually like it a lot more than I thought I would because it allows me to post consistently and I don't have to worry about forgetting to post.

I have been doing this on Facebook and Twitter which is working well. I spent some time writing a bunch of posts for both platforms and scheduled them. Most of them were me sharing my blog posts on to my pages on Facebook and Twitter. I have posts scheduled on both platforms for the rest of April and I'm planning to start working on posts for May soon to.

I will be continuing to do this and have 2 to 3 posts scheduled per week on both Facebook and Twitter and hopefully I will get some results with this. I will be doing this with my other social media pages at some point as well but for now I'm just focusing on Facebook and Twitter so I don't overwhelm myself.

So this is what is keeping me busy and giving me less time for WA and other things I want to do. I will also be writing a short eBook soon to use as a lead magnet so and then I will be finally start email marketing in a few weeks once I get that done.

That's pretty much everything I have been up to lately and these are the main things I will be doing for the foreseeable future. I will still be on WA each day but for a lot less time then I used to be due to me taking my business work seriously and spending a lot of time on it.

I will still be posting on my WA blog as often as I can and there a couple of other things I want to write blog posts about soon to. I will be working very hard from here on out as this recent success has motivated me to keep going and keep being consistent. I have a good feeling and it looks like 2024 is going to be my year. I will keep you updated on my progress and I will definitely write a blog post here on my WA blog whenever I have more progress or success to share with you all.

Conclusion

In conclusion I have made my first 2 eBook sales a couple of days ago and already received payment from them. I have also gotten another WA referral since my last blog post on WA and have made my first earnings with the eBay affiliate program through my website which was 50 cents in action earnings.

I have been working very hard on my business and writing blog posts consistently every week as well as working on my social media and scheduling posts consistently which I hope will grow my social media following and get me some more good results one day in the future.

I'm very happy with what I have achieved over the last couple of weeks and all the progress I have made. I wasn't expecting any of this to happen but I'm very happy that it has. All of this has motivated me to work very hard on my business and keep up the consistency.

I will still be on WA each and I will still write posts on my WA blog as often as I can but I will be spending a lot less time on WA each day than I used to. I'm really happy with where I'm at with my business and I hope to achieve some more success one day in the future.
