An affiliate program is a program where an affiliate (you) earns commissions from selling products or merchandise for a company. There are 1,000's of affiliate programs out there now a days. What I have learned with affiliate programs are you want to watch what ones you sign up with. I suggest signing up with one that will let you join for free to try it out. That is one of the great things about Wealthy Affilaite you can join for free. Another thing you want to look for is the training that is offered through the affiliate program. The training here at Wealthy Affiliate is mind blowing. It is great because it is hands on too.

How does an Affiliate Programs work?

An Affiliate Program works by the affiliate (you) signing up with a company (like E-Bay, Amazon, Wealthy Affiliate, and Wal-Mart) get affiliate links through said company and sell their product under your affiliate link and earn commissions for your help selling their product or merchandise.

Ex: You sign up as an affiliate through company F and sell their Product A for $200. Your commission rate with company F is 45% so that means you will get $90 dollars from company F for your sale of Product A.

How do you get started with an Affiliate Program?

You get started by filling in your details the sign up page then click on submit form. After you do that you will get your affiliate links to start promoting and selling products for said company.
