Yes we can clarify it was none of the above, but everyone was really nice about it, Kyle switched me back on even though I think I had to prove myself I think in a blog via social media which I hope he found amusing.. I do think certain words are underrated, , however I get that there isn't a real place for it in the Live Chat...Also I did benefit from just reading the chat so it was all positive. Absolutely, understanding that some people are not able to handle certain combinations of letters put together because it has been pounded into their heads that these are "bad" words is something that we need to be aware of.

For my own curiosity. If I use one of those words (tastefully or appropriately) in a blog post here, is that acceptable? Is there any policy about this?

Obviously I refrain from using such language in responses to questions and in comments to other peoples writing, but in my own blog posts, if someone didn't care for the words I use... They can just click out of it or click back Right? I mean titles are different because they show up in the feed and everyone sees it, I am only referring to the content of a blog post.

Get you totally, I have used some standard profanity, lol, in some of my blogs on my site, cos I reckon its mine, and its like. I think artistic license. However I think I tested the water fully on the live chat, I might be tempted to ask one of the admin, but I reckon because I just have done in my blog and above said the word,

I was talking about blog posts here. Most definitely you can do anything you like on your own domain, though, it's smart to consider your audience for the sake of your site doing well. For me, I have an aquarium website and kids might go on there, so I stay away from it there.

I am tempted to make a site where profanity wouldn't be out of place though. I feel like there would be more of a natural flow to my writing if I didn't have to stop my self, rephrase, and type and awkward replacement word in place of what truly belongs there.

For example, if you have every seen the movie "A Christmas Story"

When the kid spills the lug nuts, helping his dad change the tire he says in slow motion "Oh Fudge".
Then the narrator chimes in with "Except I didn't say Fudge, I said the big one. The mother of all mothers!"

hahaha, at least in that example there was a narrator there to explain the intended word... in detail..

Yeah I'm defo not against I would swear all day, but its not good for some of the people so I will respect that now as they have acknowledged me, and sort of respected me.

Its a bit like Irvine Welsh, he wrote in complete Scottish dialect, loved starting to read again when I started reading his books, first one being Acid House.

Obviously, well not obviously, but I had read before, I think my first book was The Pine Prince, and the Silver Birch, a very sad story about two trees,well sad and happy,happy, and sad.

The Pine Prince and The Silver Birch, I stole it from my teacher, I was 11, I think maybe 12, but she didn't need it she might have just been following me because I bumped into her after I had done my first year BA fine art ceramics, not showing off, because I spent that right off my head in Leeds.

The book is a fine example and something that in my view inspires, and has a quality that is like no other, its a rare one so if you get to find it then mint; failing all else I would send it you, but I would like my youngest to read it probably first, but it doesn't matter I suppose because shes not me.

Probably, hopefully she gets something that triggers hers imagination but things are different and our children will have this and future technology so this, this site Wealthy site is wealthy in knowledge,and knowledge is power, and this is what our children will read, & I hope that makes sense,,
