A Small Discovery About Leaderboard Credits
I had a bit of a learning moment today and thought I’d share in case it helps someone else. Recently, I noticed 28 credits sitting in my comments section. I wasn’t quite sure where they had come from, but since they were available, I went ahead and used them. I’ve since realized those credits were actually part of my Leaderboard cash credits. I had been quietly saving those credits to put toward purchasing a domain, so it caught me a little off guard when I discovered they had already been allocated elsewhere. This isn’t a complaint, more of an observation. I may well have missed something along the way, but from my perspective it wasn’t immediately clear that the credits in the comments section were tied to my saved Leaderboard balance. If there is information about this somewhere obvious, I’d genuinely appreciate being pointed in the right direction. It might be helpful for members if there were a small note or indicator showing where certain credits originate from, especially when they affect balances we may be intentionally saving. When you’re working toward something specific like a domain, it’s easy to assume your saved credits are still sitting untouched.
I just wanted to mention this in case anyone else is saving their Leaderboard credits for something in particular. It might be worth double-checking how they’re allocated.
