Teaching, Printables, and Teachers Pay Teachers

Teacher Rant: I love teaching. I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I'm sitting here now during lunch eating with a student that comes in occasionally to see me. Even if I make decent money in my online business, I have no desire to leave the classroom. Students keep me feeling young and keep my mind sharp. I took Thursday and Friday off last week since it was my birthday Thursday. On Friday, I just took a mental health day and got some grading done. I came back to class on Monday to find that a student made a birthday card for me and had other students sign it. I almost teared up. Students rarely do things like that anymore. This is the reason why I still want to be a teacher. The love and purity of young people has kept me healthy and happy, and I love my students as if they were my own children.

Printables: Y'all, I sold my first printable on Teachers Pay Teachers! I'm doing a bundle for Women's History Month, and I am selling them for 1.99 each. It's a short reading comprehension printable with questions that could be used for English class or homeschool.

I have made 7 so far, and want to have 31 for each day of March so that it may sell seasonably. Today, someone purchased my printable on Ruth Bader Ginsburg! I thought I would get sales from Etsy, but I think I'm actually going to do better with Teacher Pay Teachers since I have educational products. And their fees end up being cheaper than Etsy. So this is a big deal for me.

I'm so excited! Nobody can tell me nothing right now! :)
