Teacher Rant
I am just so disappointed in what your education system is turning into. We want to say that we're giving students "grace and empathy" but really we're just afraid to have any rules or structure nowadays. Students can come to class late, cheat, put their hands on one another, and bring drugs/weapons into schools, but we don't hold them accountable and call it "giving them grace." I know deep in my heart that 10 years from now, we're going to regret enabling our kids so much. They need to be in school, they need structure, and they need logical consequences for bad behavior. These guidelines are what make them productive members of society.
My online business
I've officially finished by 27 page reflection journal for English teachers. I plan to post it to Etsy this week. It's taken me a while of proofreading and tweaking to make sure that I have a good ebook.
One thing I realized is that if you sell pintables on Etsy, if you get people to buy it, you can advertise your blog in the printable. As the last page of my journal, I have a "Articles You Might Like" to link back to my website.
I learned recently that cannot put Amazon affiliate links in an e-book. But you could put a link to your site that has affiliate links in it. With Amazon, in order for your account to be in good standing, your clicks must come from your website. So just keep that in mind if you are an Amazon affiliate.
I will try to do these posts twice a week to hold myself accountable but also let everyone know how the printables are going for me. I don't see that many people here on WA that talk about printables.

Nicely said, Tia, but I HAVE put WA links in my eBooks! When they are read on a Kindle reader, they are live! Food for thought!
Jeff
Hey, Jeff!
So I'm realizing that not all affiliate programs are treated equal. Some affiliate programs will let you post the link anywhere, but I think Amazon is a little picky.
I like Amazon, but I'm learning that you have to do your research with them before you start throwing their links everywhere.
I'm about to be like you, Jeff! I want to post to my blog more often. I want to throw in some pics like you do! You are my role model! Now, I'm an English teacher, but I don't know if I can do the alliterative titles like you do. You're killing it!

I totally agree with your teacher rant here Tia... kids are given way to much leeway these days and there will be consequences in the future..
Sounds like your online business is moving along very nicely my friend, keep up the great work!
