Teacher Diaries - Pets and Printables

Teacher Rant: I love animals. In fact, I sometimes think I should have been a veterinarian instead of a teacher. The pay would have at least been better. But it makes me think of how much we need animals in our schools. They are such a pure form of life that many students should get used to being around. I think it's comforting. When I taught in another state, I was able to bring my pooch Roxy (pictured above) in my classroom on slow days. The students loved it. Where I teach now, it's much more sterile and "factory like." Too many students, not enough teachers and staff, and everybody's just about business. But with so much violence and anger going on in our schools, therapy dogs (or even class pets) would really lift everyone's spirits. But what do I know?

My online business: I've made a JPEG image for all of the pages of my printable. I'll be selling it on both Etsy and Teachers Pay Teachers, and both of them have the feature where you can preview your product. It really helps with sales, but you don't want to post too much. Just enough to help someone understand what your product is. After I get this posted on Etsy and Teachers Pay Teachers, I'll also try to post them on the side of my website as well. I'm still thinking of printable ideas. I would like to do some good ones for Women's History Month next month.
