An Encouraging Sign

So this morning I looked outside and noticed a flock of birds flying north for the summer. This is a very encouraging sign as it means winter is just about done.

I also checked my Adsense account for the first time in a couple weeks. Seeing that zero everyday was just to discouraging. Well the wait was totally worth it. It seems one of my websites with 23 posts is getting an average of about 60 visitors a day!

Because of that my Adsense account has been accumulating money for the past eight days in a row. Now we're talking between 30¢ and a dollar a day, but it's still way more encouraging to see positive results.

I committed myself to working hard on this project while I was doing some soul searching over the weekend. Yesterday I put together what I thought were three really quality articles. Each was almost 1000 words apiece, I spent a good deal of time making sure the graphics were perfect, and was really proud of what I did.

By the end of the day, I was worn out. But I felt a real sense of accomplishment knowing that this hard work will pay off.

I've read some other blog posts and comments about others that he discouraged by the slow rate of growth. We just have to keep in mind that there are millions of others try to do with the exact same thing that we are.

I figure if I just keep working the plan and build something unique then good things will come. Don't give up, keep working hard, and your business will grow as well.

Although it's only baby steps I'm counting this one as a success! Even Batman is giving me the thumbs up. Thanks Batman!!
