Coming out of the closet
Hey fellow internet marketers,
As my blog title implies, I can be a little introverted. Sticking around WAU is an easy chance to change that quality. Writing blogs or pages on my website seems different than writing a blog to more direct ears. Strange since the website can, hopefully, hit the whole world.
Well anyway I completed Level 2 and I would like to start off by saying...what a great place WA is. The tutorials right at your fingertips. A great group of peers and established internet marketers...Hey it's great. I know I'm not alone in that viewpoint.
I have a website set up. Already a good half a dozen blogs and about the same number of pages. I feel good about the site. No money coming from it yet. But I wasn't expecting those quick results. I'm even taking the monetizing a little slow. I have an Amazon affiliate account with a couple of links to products. I'm not looking to flood my site with banners and promotions. At least not right away. All in good time.

On a different note: I'm going back to a full time 9-5 job starting Monday, Sept. 30. I've been out of work, full time that is, since the company I spent 25 years with went out of business. I'm not thrilled about this 9-5, but I gotta do what I gotta do. It's not bad pay, not great pay either. A lot of benefits. Still not feeling motivated. My hearts not into this 9-5 working for others.
This of course gives me more motivation to stick with the internet marketing plans I've already set in motion. So, you guys will still have me around, whether you like it or not! WA is a great place and my plans are to stick this through until I achieve what I set out to achieve. A full time business on the internet. Maybe 6 months from now...maybe a year from... maybe 2 years from now. It's got to be done. I'm really sick to my stomach thinking of the other dreaded 9-5 option for another 20 years.
So, internet marketers, are you with me? I'll bet you are. Good fortune to all of us.

I'll do my best to enjoy the process. There is only the moment. If I consider I am unhappy and only have something to look forward to, that won't make a fruitful moment.

Good that you're not wanting the 9-5 grind for 20 years. The world is definitely changing and predictions show that our economy is turning into exactly what we are all doing here. For us to make a statement requires first a flash of the idea. Then we stretch it out into our linear sentences. Same with goals to accomplish. First there's the dream and then we systematically stretch out a plan to bring that dream to life. Yes, I did read your article. Good job!
I like your grit, thendiy! With your determination, you ARE going to make that online business work. Congratulations, meanwhile, on your new job. I know the 9 to 5 idea may not be the most appealing right now, but sometimes we have to take what we can get until we can make what we really want. You are on your way to that, and I have no doubt you'll be firing your boss some day in the not to distant future.

Checked out your website. Some very interesting points. I completely agree that we should live who we are NOW.
I know how you feel about the 9 to 5. I had a similar situation with losing my job but it had a different ending. I wish you luck with your internet marketing plans so that you can go full time and leave the grind. (I sent you a private message).
