First Blog Post

I am working through the WA training and so far have been enjoying it a lot. So far I have designed my website and have made 5 posts, plus my About Me page! I signed up for an Amazon Associate's account, so I have some affiliate links on my site, along with a WA affiliate link. Two of my pages have been indexed in Google so far, but I'm waiting to see how that transfers over to being ranked. Not sure how that part works yet!

The niche that I am working in is Color Street dry nail polish strips. I signed up in November as an Independent Stylist and I love it so far. I figured WA would help me get to the next level. My husband has had a WA account for a few years, so now I've been walking through the training step by step so I can learn everything and be successful.

One part that I found to be very challenging was setting up my Word Press website. The theme that I picked made it very difficult to do what I wanted it to do and it was not intuitive to work with. Luckily my husband has a lot of WP experience and was able to help get it set up initially.

In the upcoming months, I just hope to be able to continue doing what I'm doing, making progress, and maybe even start seeing some money come in! Eventually I would love to have around $2,000/month in passive income. From what I've heard, that will be pretty easy to do, so surpassing that would be fantastic!
