Can We Talk About The Weather?!
Hey Everyone!
Can we talk about the weather for a second?
Yesterday it was 5 degrees Celsius. Today it is -4 (feels like -12) degrees Celsius. What is with that! And by Saturday it is supposed to be 9 degrees. Come on! The temperature goes up and down more than the toilet seat at the gas station!
One day we are shoveling snow, and the next day it feels like we should be cutting the grass.
Kind of like our feelings toward this business, I guess.
Some days we have warm and sunny feelings and just do the work because we know it is going to happen. Success will happen!
Other days we have the cold and stormy feelings and find the motivation to do the work difficult because we wonder if we will ever be successful at this online stuff.
But just like the weather changes, so to, if we persevere, our feelings will change and we will get through the storm.
Persevere, my friends. Stick with it. Shovel the snow when you need to. Sunny days are around the corner. This too will pass.
Prosperity may be around the next post!
Have a great day!
Tom

Love that, thanks Tom. I was out on my mountain bike earlier pointing generally at the French Pyrenees and the lack of snow for the time of year. At least I have my bike and can keep riding even if I can't ski this winter. Whatever it takes to stay fit & healthy, whatever it takes to keep my business the same. Perseverance & perspective.

Tell me about it Tom! It's currently +5 Celsius and raining. That's right. Raining. As in water, not snow.
Now this might be normal in some parts of the world but not this far up north in Finland in February.
Just a week ago it was -8 or so but in the past January and February used to be between -10 and -40 Celsius.
I'd like to say something about the trend of the temperature globally, but I don't want to set ruffle any weathers as some people automatically make it political ;).
Motivation does change from day to day. Perseverance is the key. The image of a man with a snowblower brings back a lot of memories. I hope that snow continues to be a memory. Thanks for the post.

Great analogy. Yep, it's that time of year for crazy weather. We have snow one day and the next is sunny and the snow has melted.
