The Next Big Opportunity
Hi there WA Peeps...
I have wanted to post this for a while but life has us all busy with the fine line of Life Balance. Many here are either building websites, trying to learn the ropes, posting helpful tips and tricks and much more.
I believe the next opportunity has knocked on our Affiliate door. Back in August Walmart and Google teamed up to become a player in the voice-shopping market. Right now we all know that Amazon dominates that market with Alexa.
Now retail shoppers will be able to buy Walmart products much like they do with Alexia and Amazon. They can use the voice activated Google Assistant Platform on their phones and home devices.

I applied the other day to become a Wal-Mart.com USA, Affiliate Program. I was approved today. I am looking forward to utilizing this as well as other programs.
Hopefully it will be something that helps us in the future.

Walmart and Google are providing another opportunity for all of us to capitalize on.
People will be able to order by speaking into their phones leveraging nearly 5000 walmart stores. Directly competing with Amazon/Alexia
This means more potential shoppers, more products more opportunities for affiliates.
An affiliate link could go to Walmart sure..but voice shopping is in direct competition with standard web shopping. How does this help us?
Yes I understand what you are saying. You have a point.
I know with Amazon the voice shopping aspect is only for Prime members and only covers certain products. It was also out since 2014 and I haven't seen any big fuss as yet concerning market share.
I believe that the market is big enough for all. People will still be driven to quality content via the web and therefore affiliate marketing will continue to thrive.
Hi there, I was thinking more of an opportunity to affiliate it! It's new, since it will be a dual partnership with Walmart it seems logical to become an affilate and start the blog!
