Sell yourself not your company

I was just in a discussion about branding yourself so it compelled me to write one of my own.

This is the new and actually smarter way of working in network marketing. When I first got started in network marketing and mlm I had the mindset of show the business, the products, and the value or great uses of the products or services.

BAD IDEA!

Sure the company and or products and services may be great, it all comes down to who is promoting it. If that person is just saying "Hey join me and make lots of money" or start the conversation with "I'm with this company and they blah blah blah" you get the point, that's not going to work much. You will lose more reps than you sign up that's a given.

THE SOLUTION?

Well that is the solution! Be a problem solver. Or better yet provide people with solutions to their problems no matter what company you work with. The more you help others without always having a hidden agenda, the more they will want to work with you and buy from you.
