Mindmaps, what are they?
Watching Jay do yet another of his masterful WAbinars, and at some point he stopped to draw a mind map. What's that you might say? Its a highly effective tool to get ideas in and out of your mind. Mindmaps are everywhere, whey even have a mind map to show you how to create a mindmap.
Mindmaps were invented by Tony Buzan - a distinguished gentleman with a posh British accent, but one of the smartest guys around. Here is his site where you can find some free software to get started. http://www.tonybuzan.com
I used these things for years and even bought a bunch of colored markers, and this is how I plan anything I want to achieve.

Some years ago I was trying to convince a corporate client on a design project, but the idea never got traction, even though the IT guys loved it. Management just didn't get it. They said they like the idea, but...
Then I had a novel idea: I stripped the long proposal down into a a single page. Within an hour I received an email, my proposal its accepted, now they understand what it's all about.
Start Simple
Or get as fancy as you need
BUT GET STARTED WITH MIND MAPS. THEY WORK JUST LIKE YOUR BRAIN.
Just put your GOAL in the center and you are on the way...
Who uses Mindmaps?
I can suggest some free software If you are interested. I use Xmind.

I use mind maps all the time. I'm still old school I have a 4 x 8 white board in my office and I'll use that to mind map on. I know there's software but It's nice not to stare at a computer screen, I like tactile - get's my brain working better
Tony Buzan has a great book about mind maps called The Ultimate Book Of Mind Maps.
Now how did I guess you were a mind mapper? Each time we chat I could see how you have your thought organized.
Buzan is brilliant, I only called him smart in the post.

i use mind maps, my father introduced them two me around two years ago. Of course when you are 16 you dont believe in this. Ive been using it for everything but school. may be time to start!

I use Edraw Mind Map, it's free and it works for me. That's how I plan my online video courses.
