My First Two Months
Here I am two months in and still working on my site. I have very few visitors monthly and certainly no income from it yet, as I expected. I chose to do a niche site first. I wanted to get it going quickly, when I stopped to look at it. It was horrible! I've been working for a week fixing my eagerness and lengthening my posts and pages.
I think I kind of messed up for a passive income site in that it's a seasonal sport site, there will be down time during the year.I'm going to try and fill it with quality content and let it sit while I start a WA referral site.
I'm in this for the long haul, I'm not going to give up so quickly as I've made the year commitment to be here. This is fun and I am learning so much that I know that it will get easier.
Thanks for everyone's help so far.

Awesome to hear that you are seeing some traffic so soon. Also, I think you may find this a bit encouraging seeing how your niche is seasonal: Quick Tip For *New* Seasonal Websites Keep up the hard work!

I am in almost precisely the same boat as youTom. Like you, I’m in for the long haul and want to get my first one up and running... not 100% but as good as I can reasonably make it, given what I have learned and continue to learn with the help of others in this WA community. Good luck and keep on keeping on.
