I have to do that kind of stuff all the time with my site. What I usually do is search the product name on google (i.e. 'Dell XPS 15-4737sLV') and sift through the results, usually going to more recognizable and reliable sites first. If I can't find what I'm looking for in the first one or two links I click on, I'll be more specific (i.e. 'Dell XPS 15-4737sLV backlit keyboard').

Usually I'll get everything I need from that. If not, I leave that out from my site. I don't want to be recommending something I don't know much about (especially if I still can't find anything after searching for it).

Hi Tanopenn. I reasearch the product and bring up the spec's of the item to find out all I can and then bring up 2 similar items and check them out. Then on each item there are generally some kind of review from customers that have baught and used the product. Try to construct your reviews on the reliability, materieals used in the product, ease of use and durabliity. And then compare all three products with each other. Hope this helps. One thing that I will do is go to say Amazon and read the consumer reviews there. Even if I have the product, they often lead to good insights.
