OJT - Where it's AT!!!
What do I mean by OJT? For those who are or were in the military, it's On The Job Training! I wanted to write this now because I finished LEVEL TWO Training and wanted to explain HOW IMPORTANT TRAINING IS!!!
We all know it, talk about it, tell it, learn it BUT we also (human nature) cut corners, shave off minutes of tutorials, jump ahead because of instant gratification, etc., etc. etc......
GUYS AND GALS - in the end it takes LOOONNNGERRR to accomplish what we want to get done by going to fast and doing it all on our own!! Kyle and Carson can tell you that. STOP, smell the roses, slow down and hit all of the training!
I have told myself to slow down a little and go through ALL of the WA training so I can get 90% of my questions answered systematically through the normal process - just like OJT did in the military.
LIFE IS BUSY - we know that - but a little bit here and there, everyday, will allow us to arrive instead of driving without arriving.
ALL THE BEST!!!!!

I soooo believe what you say. I've read posts where members were saying they were skipping ahead. I think when you do that, you miss all the important steps that you needed to do before you skipped ahead. Great advice.
Thanks Gordi! We live in the "gotta have it now" generation and we only learn with time! Going through the steps properly is faster in the long run! Thanks!

Sound advice. We all need to slow down sometimes. And yes there are a lot of people who need to go back and read through the excellent training to see the points they missed. They would save themselves a lot of time. Thanks for sharing

This is really COOL! So agree with you and that "human nature" to cut corners. As a pilot I'm sure you grasped some time ago how important a training foundation is. Wish all 'newbies' could read this well spoken blog. Nicely Done!
Thanks Linda! The foundation is what it's all about!
