It only took me around 10 minutes to decide this was a terrible waste of my time. I understand that I have no obligation to pay for anything. That being said it's a rather shotty design to essentially require someone to upgrade to premium to be able to close their account. From what I've gathered there is no other way to "delete" an account with WA.
I like everything about WA. The only reason I can't continue is because I don't have enough money to renew my premium subscription.
You can close your account by going to 'Account settings', click 'manage' under 'Subscription Settings' then click 'Stop Billing & Close Account'. After which you have 30 days to transfer out all your domain
from WA hosting if you have any.
Please note that there is no downgrading in WA, after you close your account, you'll be required to sign up again as a starter account should you want to return to WA.
