Progress so far at WA
Hi everyone. Just an update on my progress so far. I´m still following the training here at WA, currently Online Entrepreneur Certification - Level 4 : Lesson 7 of 10 - The Benefit of Being Social at WA, and one of the tasks is to write this blog entry.
I´m actually finding my progress is going a lot slower than I would really like. I don´t have a "proper" job at the moment but even so, I´m finding it difficult to do more than one post per week, what with all the research and then image searching and then image optimization, followed by making sure I´ve got different versions of each feature image so I can post to each social network properly. Then I´m trying to follow the training on here and then I see other peoples´ queries and then I find I´ve made a mistake or I find errors on my site and suddenly, as you can see/tell, I´m feeling terribly overwhemed by it all! I thank God for Site Support and everyone who has helped me out so far, thank you.
Even so, while I´ve not got any other "job" to do, I will continue with this because I like it! I love the thought that I´m working towards something that could help me go part-time or even leave a full-time job in the future and work from home or remotely anywhere in the world.
I´ve got some advertising on my site already, via various affiliate programs and I´ve done some reviews but as yet, nobody has bought anything and I´m wondering what did I do wrong. I´m a worrier. Obviously. I want to join in more on the Live Chat but when can I do that when I must write 2 posts per week (in my dreams!).
Anyway, hope you can understand my feelings but believe me when I say, I do have ideas for trainings on here in the future and I´m sure that if I just keep plugging away at it, something good will come of all this effort, especially because I´ve got ideas for other sites I want to work on and I need to find the freedom to work on those too.
Thanks for "listening".

If you write one post a week, that dhshows consistency...
Lazy loader is a decent image plugin. The main thing about image is consistency.
Size your featured iimages to 600 x 800 px.
Banner headline images are long and narrow... 1200 x 300px.
Thumbnail images work well with iimages sized at 480 x 640px.
Reduce your images. Then crop if needed. Your image will look better.
Full images are too big to install on a website. I know this because I post my images at istock, and the requirement is 5mb min..
I've learned to recognize my intent when selecting my niche. Know wha I want to do, and understanding ho to proceed, has really helped me adjust my website content.
Pace yourself, be nice to yourself, w can be our worst critics...
WA is a huge community. You can aak questions anytime. Click on the help button and ask away. You don't have to do this alone....
