Distractions, distractions, distractions.

Have you noticed? How insanely many there are of them? Distractions I mean.

I promised myself when joining WA: No more distractions. And what happened? Well, doesn't really require much guesswork :-/

My back went to pieces a week ago (or at least it felt like it was gone forever). For days I didn't know how to sit, stand or move. Nothing worked and the pain was.... well, let's just say it was painful for a few days.

As it slowly got better I was at least able to check my phone and tablet from time to time. I could just forget going on my computer as I couldn't find any way of positioning myself to get work done.

So there I was, sick and tired of being sick and tired. And not get any of the planned activites done and quite frankly felt like shit (pardon my French).

And that's when it happens! When you are sort of down and out feeling like nothing's going your way. They pop into your awareness. All those seemingly interesting things turning out to be DISTRACTIONS!

No more (she said again). I am now wide awake and focused again. Also able to sit for an hour or so on my computer without my back screaming at me.

All in all I choose this weekend to be a good one (far better than the last) and wish you the same :-)

With ease and lots of JOY

Human nature is so complex, distraction are countless.

I know what that feels like - I hope your back continues to feel a little better each day :)

Thanks :-) In fact, by the time I get to the chiropractor on Tuesday it might be just fine again (but still; something is not quite as it should when these things happen)

I know the feeling, I can't seem to get a quiet moment when I need it.
I hope you manage to have a pain-free weekend, Susanne.
Cheers and all the best, Tosh :)

Thanks, Tosh :-) I can actually manage to get quiet moments when I need it. But tend to create distractions myself (might be "cute", but not so bright sometimes ;-) ). Distractions are often also just new shiny objects with no worth :-/
