Finally figured out by accident who was putting ads on text words
If you remember my blog about blue text words where I did not put a link, last week as a question, I found out what it was!
Today while writing an article I did see this happening on text words. I wish I had a screen shot to show you, but got it to stop today.
I was looking at it and while typing when words I did not ad a link to turned blue. I hovered over, clicked the ? button. A window pops up and you can remove it, it worked.
However, it does not work permanently, I saw another one and read further in the window. There is a place to see instructions to permanently delete it. Basically you click the 3 dots on top right of browser, then "more tools", then "extentions" then scroll till you see the culprit.
It was Quick Crystal Adds.
I completely deleted it and I'll see what happens. I'm going to go thru site and looks for these, I will try to get a screenshot and post it!
