Happy Sunday!!! Everyone.

Just as I was writing my blog I realized that it took me more time to edit my blog post than to write it in the first place.

It took me around an hour to write my blog, but whereas it took me two hours to edit it almost twice as much time!!!

It is even more intimidating when the blog posts are above two thousand words.

Have you ever been there?

I certainly have.

Just rechecking and making sure that everything is correct is like chewing gum for a long time. The funny thing is that we want to do it at least twice per post.

Is it natural for editing to take som much time, or can we boost our efficiency by doing something? I know that we can hire people to do editing for us, but not a lot of people (including me) can afford it

Grammarly and other grammar checkers do make the burden lesser, but there has to be a way to make editing faster.

Have you found out the secret sauce to edit as fast as writing your blog post? If you have please help us, slow editors, out.

3 hours to get all of that done is pretty impressive.

Let's halt it.

I edit as I go along. It make life easier and I go through much faster.
Thinking of using Grammarly next year though

I am

Hey Surya if you are down to 1 hour writing and a couple editing a 2000 word blog then you are doing very well. For me this would take about a day but I am getting better. Why? Practice. Pure and simple. You will become more efficient. And yes the tools like Grammarly and scheduling tools for social media will help.

Well said, I guess you are correct. But I think that there is always room for improvement.
