DAY 5,6 & 7, Tech Problems

Well, the first 3-4 days all good. The training was easy to follow and concise.

NOW - Well the technical stuff starts. Setting up a website. Sometimes I find the videos a little outdated. I notice they show 2014, and it appears that a few things have changed or been updated since then. And not everything works as shown on the video. For a newbie that can create confusion. Did what I do actually work?

For instance. The first time a tried to share a link to my Facebook account, I was supposed to see a window appear where I could make a comment before posting to FB. Well the window appeared then almost instantly disappeared. The "Like" button turned to "Confirm". WHAT DO I DO NOW?

I do what any sane person would do and ask a question.

That's the next hard and confusing bit. There are so so many discussions going on that one is not really sure if the question is being addressed. The answers do not come very quickly, considering that there are 1000's online at any time. This is the most frustrating part. If you are stuck on an issue you really are prevented from moving forward. Anyone would be hesitant to continue without knowing what the consequences of their actions would be.

I want to create a Karaoke website for my existing Karaoke business and incorporate an affiliate market of all things Karaoke. I did buy my own domain for the purposes of designing it through Siterubix. BUT - I done that in the Bootcamp Training and while that is focused on WA promotion it gets very confusing trying to interpret how to apply that to a niche other than WA.

Apparently I should have created that website through the Get Started training. Maybe that should have been made a little clearer to start with. I am at a loss to know how to rectify the situation, and again, replies to questions are slow. Are my questions even getting seen?

I did create a Bootcamp free website while still a non premium member. I deleted that after discovering that I was heading in the wrong direction. It is for the promotion of WA only. So I'll rethink on that one.

Was I wrong? I don't know. Did I ask the right questions? I don't know. Did I ask the questions in the right place? I don't know.
