"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending"

I came across this quote from Maria Robinson a few months' back. It really inspired me during my times of studying when I found myself in slumps of de-motivation. I have a problem in life in losing track of what I am supposed to be doing. I am very good at goal setting but not as good as following them through. I often think back and think argh, I should have done x before / earlier / differently etc. This quote made me really realise that 1. There is no going back to a previous moment in life, and more importantly 2. It doesn't matter what has been before, what is important is where you are now and where you envision yourself heading for the future. No matter how many times I slip up, I can always change the ending of the story by changing the actions I choose to take now! So even if I realise this, and start a whole new surge of life towards my goal, and then the next day slip up, the day after, I can realise this all over again and start a whole new surge all over again towards my goal - and, thus create a new ending, a different ending than the one I would have had had I just stopped and given up because I realised I'd slipped up yet again!!!
So all I really want to say is ... don't give up.
I first started my journey in Internet Marketing in June 2009. I subsequently found WA and joined in November 2009. I went through a period of time of really studying and learning about IM and conversing with other successful entrepreneurs, but then I came across setbacks. I decided to postpone my goals as it wasn't the right time. About a year later, I reignited my desire to make it in this world. But it wasn't to be. My goals in life changed. So I decided I had to focus on other things first, so I did. And that has led me to being a student now, and coming across this quote. Now it is the summer break and I have found myself resetting my goal to make it in IM... so here I am, ready to make a brand new ending! And I know I am going to make it, no matter how long it takes me or what happens, I will keep learning and moving forward, one step at a time. :-)
