How We Usually Measure Success?

1. We set up a goal or goals we want to achieve.

2. We set a time limit we want to achieve that goal.

3. We work on that goal everyday.

4. When the goal deadline comes, we see whether we achieved that goal or not.

What Happens To Most People?

Whether you are starting something new, or just want to get better at something you are already good at, chances are you are not going to achieve your goal fully or at all for that matter.

What will you do then? Quit and say you are not good enough? Say it's not your thing to be successful?

NO! THAT'S A LOSER MENTALITY.

How To Handle So Called Failures?

1. In case you broke the deadline and still have not achieved your goal, set a new deadline. Then repeat this action again untill your goal is reached.

Failure is a part of life and the most successful people failed many times before achieving success. What made them successful is the fact that they never QUIT!

2. Learn to improve your skills outside this platform. Use famous blogs, successful people in your field and Internet to help you with what is new and what does the trick nowdays.

3. Be prepared to go over the line. If something is not working for you, change it. But never say " It will take a lot of work". Maybe it will, but you want to be successful right? I believe that is the reasons you started you online entrepreneur journey at the first place.

So, be prepared to work hard and test your limits. Do not be scared of diving into your online business with 100%.

4. Set smaller goals. Divide your main goal into many small ones and start doing them first. For example, instead of waiting your inspiration to write a 2000 word article everyday, you could write as up to 500 words every single day. That way you will have your 2000 word article in 4 days. And you will have much less pressure.

5. Remove time limits for your goals. Someone wrote that we only feel as failures if we do not get something after certain amount of time.

Imagine how stress reliefing it would be if you just worked hard every day, do what you should do and treat results as miracles of your hard work. No matter how small they might be.

If you do not set a time limit for achieving your goals, you can never be a failure. Something to think about.

6. Be realistic. If you are venturing into something completely new, chances are you will not be as successful as someone who is an expert in that field. Give yourself time to grow.

7. Don't complain if you are not doing enough work. How many times I heard people say, "I am too busy to blog", "I can only post one blog post a month" and similar things. Don't blame others and WA for lack of effort from your side. If you put small effort you are going to need a lot more time than someone how is willing to work much harder and smarter than you.

8. Stop comparing to others. We all work in different niches and fields, and just because someone reached a success 10 years ago in very short time, does not mean you will do the same. Time is changing and to be successful today, you really have to show dedication and a will to expand your knowledge.

You have your own journey and you will bloom when the time is right. Just make sure you keep working hard, learning new skills and implementing them on your business - and you will get there. You will also be an example of successful Wealthy Affiliate member ;).
