Do Not Reject Comments Too Fast!
Did you know you could edit the comments you accept on Site Comments Platform?
So, if someone made a decent effort in commenting your blog and made one mistake, do not be the guy/girl who rejects the comment immediatelly.
Edit the comment in your comment section on WordPress, fix the error and all is well :).

You have multiple sides to the debate here.
one segment says it creates extra work which is not what they paid for.
another segment says they don't want their comments to be altered by anyone without a chance to edit them.
Another segment says that this is a good idea.
Yet another segment says deny, deny, deny, so the user learns the cruel lesson of life.
And still, another says just leave it because I don't want to worry about a single comment.
And wait, there are still more sides to this argument so EEEEKKKK!

I think if it's just a miss spelling or a grammatical error, there is no need to reject, I have received many high-quality comments and they might have a few miss spell, I won't reject a good comment for just a miss spelled word.
it's only when the comment is poor and sometimes it doesn't even talk about the article, then that is a dilemma. I actually had a comment that I kept for three days because I really felt bad about rejecting, but I could not use it for anything.
My belief is that it becomes my property so I edit it how I like. But without completely changing it from its main point if there is one. I rather edit things to my liking regardless anyways because I know the importance of control or a lack of it.

I agree with you Ropesa. I do not pay for my comments and I do not mind correcting it sometimes when there is needed.
I see your points Eric. I can understand that some people that are paying for comments feel like their money is wasted, when they really have to correct your comments.
On the other hand, I do not pay for comments and I surely do not mind correcting some grammar errors. I reject comments that are completely without any kind of effort, or they look too spammy.
