My own registered website was already taken?

The only way a website that was registered to you could now be owned by someone else is you forgot to renew it by the deadline. Can you confirm if this happened?
Once you lose it there is only one way to get it back. Negotiate with the new owner to sell it to you.
I bought a domain consisting of my name a few years ago. I set up an automatic renewal arrangement and my account was billed each year automatically. I haven’t made it into a website yet and just transferred it to Wealthy Affiliate.
If I lost it Go Daddy would charge me $500 for it as it’s value has risen. I cannot stress enough the importance of being on top of this.
All the best to you.
Edwin
Hi Edwin,
I just owned my site a month ago and supposedly be renewed next year. I just don't know why my domain registrar registered that site in my name when in fact it was already taken. Hoping this would be clarified.

where to find " your invite link"?
You can go to my website and click on the wa banner or if you mean your wa link go to the $ sign above and then click on tracking and it will be there. Sorry about taking so long but I've had the flu and am starting to get back to work. Hope this helps
