Oh, For The Love Of...! Turn The Page!
This one below reminds me so much of, well, ME!
Actually,
I'm kind of a slow reader. I absolutely LOVE to read. However, my mind does have a tendency to wander and get distracted by shiny baubles when I'm bored. Then of course, it takes me even longer to read whatever it is I started.
Often, it's an ever-swirling vortex that keeps me reading the same paragraphs, over and over. OR, even the same sentences. :- /
Sometimes:
I can attribute that to it's just so good, like Shakespeare or Poe. I enjoy reading it so much, I just have to give it another go.
Or, usually:
It's just that I want the page turned so badly because I'm so bored! I figure maybe it gets better right?
This post comes after having spent today reading boring, and I mean boring, product reviews, product technical information, and content.
Geez, can some people be MORE dry in their writing technique? I don't think so!
So, whether I'm just falling asleep reading, thus not comprehending it the first time through, or just so uncomfortable I want to leave the page as quickly as possible, I think:
"For The Love Of God, Turn The Page!"

Hi Jeannie, you sound like me I see shinny sparkly things and go a drift sometimes. I know what you mean about boring, in some research I have done I wonder if anyone really reads it. Its good info but really has no pizzaz. Oh well, thanks for the post! :))

There's an old saying, "The person with no time to read is no better off than the person who can't read at all".
I'm not the reader I once was. I have to admit I read almost nothing of what is written on WA... I have it read to me.
I'm on a Mac, I turn on Text-to-Speech and Samantha the virtual voice reads to me. I can control the pace from very fast 'motor-mouth' to slow and sexy. I'm spoiled.
