Well, this has been a busy week refereeing, but pretty unproductive with my projects. Last night represented my 5th day in a row I had games. Tonight will be my last indoor this week and won't have anything again till Saturday morning, if we don't get rained out.

So I've mostly been sleeping and resting during the day to do it again the next night this week. After chasing the players for 4 or 5 hours I am tired and wired at the same time. Have a hard time getting to sleep. Guess that is why siting here writing this at 3:30 AM. Plays hell with my schedule. Find that following game days I really need 8 to 9 hrs sleep or I get pretty grouchy. Plus once I go to sleep and wake up I feel really rum dumb and unenergetic for several hours My recovery time works out to be about 20 hrs now days.

Makes me remember the days when I was 21 and could play basketball for 2 or 3 hours, then maybe lift weight and find my self back in the gym looking for another game.

Doesn't happen like that any more. Still I have to say my life has basically improved every year. It would be hard to go backwards if some miracle would make it possible.

My plan was to live till I die. Not just exist. On plan so far due to God's Grace.

Hope everyone are making tracks to your goals.

God bless you all.

Man, can I relate to this post, thanks!

De nada. Hope everything is going well at your place.

God Bless.

Lol.. there are plenty of us who now take longer to recover.. I also find if i disturb my schedule, be it working till early morning hours, the next day i would be in no fit state to do anything.. like you say will feel run down and unenergetic for several hours.:(.. But like you have rightly noted, keeping to schedule helps.. so hope when your games program finishes you can get back to your normal schedule and routines.. We definitely must LIVE to the end.:).. keeps the mind active too, hence wades off dementia en all.:).

God Bless..

See that you have several websites going. Hope everything is working out for you. God Bless.

I can't even remember when I was 21 (:>)

It has been a day or two and the memories are a bit hazy.
