This is what I've been going on about
Since I have gotten a few comments encouraging my new project, I thought I would share a couple pictures of what I have been doing and what I have been talking about in the last few posts.
I am creating a full line of flutes, from PVC flutes made in the Native American style, to bamboo and handcrafted wooden flutes.
I grow elderberry here on my property and make flutes from that. If I age and dry the elder-wood It make some really beautiful and interesting grains and color variations. As it ages it takes on grey tones which give it a very interesting look.
I thought you might like to see what I've been going on about...
This flute has a hand carved cedar, dog fetish and a removable mouth piece fitted with cork just like a concert clarinet or sax.
The flute is finished in clear lacquer.
Thanks to all of you that have been following my blog posts and leaving kind words of encouragement and support.
I love this community!

Thank you,
I have been enjoying the elder-wood because I one time I just saw it as a bother and now it's making something beautiful.
That experience could serve as an analogy, for how we as humans sometimes view not just the elder wood, but also how we sometimes view people.
