My Latest Endeavor

It's been a while since I wrote a blog post here. Happy Holidays to all of you! I hope this finds you all fat and happy.

Well you know what I mean... I guess happy and healthy works, too.

I am fairly certain I have mentioned my meditation practice here before although I don't write about it all the time because some members would not see the benefit to an online business.

The truth is a regular meditation practice will bring you benefits in every area of your life.

Don't leave, that isn't really what the post is about...

Through my meditation practice I discovered flute music, which I absolutely love. I have also experienced a explosion in my always expanding creativity. I have been an artist my entire life, but like many of us, some of our passions get shifted to the back burner, so to speak.

Since I started my journey to explore my soul more deeply I got back to drawing and painting, I built 4 websites, designed tons of graphics and expanded my writing talents.

Recently, I decided to research flute making and found it to be a very rewarding creative outlet. The flutes I am making are in the Native American style, which is an end blown flute, as opposed to a transverse flute.

I have created several wooden flutes, a couple of bamboo flutes and a couple of PVC flutes. Along the way I have gotten better at playing, too.

Today I created a new website which I am going to build out to write about my flute making experience and to put up some handcrafted flutes for sale. I still have a lot of work to do but I'm on my way.

Yes I am still maintaining the other sites and will probably have to look at beginning to outsource some writing, what with all the work in the shop and holding down a job.

I'll share more about it when I make some progress. I would love to hear what you think.
