Are there any rules as to what type of sites are built here?
A friend of mine has asked me to look into building a web site for his used tire shop. Can this be set up as a single page or at the most two pages. I would also like the home page to advertise his goods as well as affiliate.
Thoughts, ideas, good bad or definitely a no-no

You can build your website about whatever you want. If you were making a site for his tire shop, promoting tire tools or online companies that sell tires might would work also. And with only one or two pages it's not gonna get much traffic using SEO, but it would help people locally to find his shop online by name and get info., so yea, I think it's a good idea, especially if he's paying you to build the site for him!
