So I started a YouTube gaming channel at the end of February and am sharing my experience. If you think YouTube is easy, right? Well, unfortunately, it's not. I got around 300 400 hours of work now (there may be even more), and I stumbled upon many mistakes that need fixing.
Decent setup - Mic, PC, Photoshop skills, Video Editor Skills, the software itself, time.
Watch your work. And by that, I mean watch it. I can give an example. I watch my work three, four, or more times. In editing, one time, in the recording one, one time after export (so it could be uploaded), and then the final work. As you can read, those are more hours of work.

A charismatic character/talent. (self-explanatory)
Now I am experimenting with ads, which are more things you need to learn if you don't use them.
Organic research and social media posts. Research in YouTube search and Google trends for keywords.
Bonus - interacting in forums and connected websites to your channel's topic.
