Google search is so bad!

I have been in this business for almost a decade, and it always baffles me how bad Google rank articles. In my opinion, it has always gotten worse and worse. I personally would trust AI to avoid wasting time on my searches. More specifically copilot, it's ridiculously better! You write an article to cover a product X... You do your research, waste time writing it.. and when you search on Google, you see a completely different product ranking on the first page while your post is nowhere to be seen. It's clear Google algorithms are flawed at their core, and after so many years they should have fixed it. But apparently it's either impossible or lack interest for another reason. They seem to like pushing up their favourites in detriment of small bloggers. So their system is probably flawed on purpose... That's the only explanation I see. Sorry for the rant guys!

Nice

Totally agree with you here Stefan, lets just wait another 6 weeks or so to see if it can sort itself out!

Great little rant by the way my friend!!

I have always said that Google is a fickle beast, Stefan! I agree with your assessment!

It's by design. On mobile, you would have to scroll 5+ screen lengths to get to the Position 2 organic result for commercial intent keywords.

Blogging as was done a few years ago with organic search traffic alone doesn't work anymore. You have to diversify into other forms of traffic generation and also use paid traffic if you are selling a product or service.

Either that or find a niche and keywords that you are literally the only one targeting, that can't be satisfied by ads.

Yep! Not only that but for a long time now your site has to compete with YT videos. Sadly, The good old days are gone for bloggers... I am seriously thinking about dedicating much more time to videos. Should have done this a long time ago.

I know what you are talking about! It's funny how some posts pop up straight away and others go deep into the void.
It is very random sometimes.

Bing is so much better than Google! Not only you have the AI assistant, their search results are spot on! But slowly people will realize more and more.
