I've tried a few different methods for this online only to find most are either a scam or do not generate enough money to justify

I'm ranking number one for 'factors to consider when buying a smart tv' this has a really low QSR so it happened rather quickly after creating the post.

The WA keyword tool is showing your site in the QUOTED search results, that is the true competition and is different from what will display when you search google without the quotes. You would find the same results if you put each of those search terms in google with the " " . Showing up #1 within the quoted results is still a good thing though, it usually means you will find yourself on the front page... eventually.

Thanks for the response, I should have stated I do know about the quotation marks and how the keyword tool generates results in that way. However that is not my issue, my issue is why with such a low qsr (it's actually 5 not 17 also) is it not getting ranked, i know for sure google has indexed it. I d/on't understand why the first keyword gets ranked but not the second?

Oh, I see, sorry I misunderstood. Ranking isn't an exact science, a QSR of 5, 17, etc doesn't mean it'll rank in _x_ amount of time There's a lot of variables that go into it.

I see your website is really new, so it's actually an extremely good sign if you're already starting to rank.. my sites took a few months to start ranking at all! Google is a little cautious with new websites and doesn't automatically give them a front page ticket, you have to work to establish a good rep.

Things can take a long time to rank in the begenning, even with a very low QSR like 5... however once your site is older and more established with lots of content, you'll find it start to rank very quickly when you target the low qsr terms.

Give it time, you will eventually rank if you keep it up

Wendy thank you again for the response, this really settled my worries for the page that wasn't getting ranked. I guess for now it's just content building and waiting for the traffic to come, I don't want to carry on to Course 3 until I'm seeing good, consistent traffic; do you think that's sensible?

Thanks again for response and help :D
