Handling Resistance To Change
Whenever we try something new, resistance to change appears. This can have a devastating effect on ourgoals when we succumb to its influence.
When we gain an understanding that it is simply a fear-based reaction that we can handle, we can move forward.
Ironically, the key here is to welcome the resistance with open arms, rather than have it impede our progress. This may seem odd, but hang with me here.
When we welcome this resistance, we recognize it for its gift to us. What may that be? The ideas or beliefs that are running our lives have been exposed.
When we become conscious of these beliefs and begin to question them, we realize that they are not true at all. Even so, these ideas have been responsible for the decisions we make.
I go into more detail on this on my website, but suffice it to say, by embracing our resistance, we begin to regain our power to move forward more effortlessly toward our goals.
Check out this article that I recently wrote, How To Manage Resistance To Change, for some viable ideas to put into practice. This will result in regaining our wasted energy and using it in much more productive ways.
To your Success,
Joseph William

Hey Joseph,
What a fascinating way that you described this, even though it is still a bit unclear to me. I love the powerful quotes you're using throughout your article on your website. It resonates well with me and I am sure many others. How has this worked for you?
What is your website's niche? I am struggling to figure out how you monetize with it.
Great approach here! Welcomed resistance instead of fighting it. O like that! Many thanks!
Thanks, Joseph for sharing this brief lesson. That's why I now listen to stoic wisdom since the beginning of the year, and it helps. I'm seeing results religion failed to deliver for decades.
We resist change mainly because of what we think it is, which in reality, might not be it as we thought it was. Misunderstanding is still part of what we call understanding, only with a miss.
John
Thanks for your thoughts and insights on this, John. Much appreciated. The answers are all around and within us, and they don't go away due to lack of awarness. Best, Joseph
