Where did the name Sruffey come from?

It goes back many years that I wanted a dog, which I found one it was just a pup. Six weeks old and the owner of the pups said I could take my choice of about 7-8 pups, I can't remember, because it was many years ago. I am almost 64 years of age, I say it like that, because I don't think or act old as my years. Anyway I pick this little pup, the owner said it was the dumbest of the litter. I had made my choice and I am a pretty good judge of dogs. I am a good judge of a lot of things, except of women lately. Which I Trained the pup until it was grown and it turned into the best dog I had ever owned.

Well as time went by the dog become my favorite of all the dogs I had owned and I had owned many dogs. I got homeless and had to find a place for him to stay until I found a place for us to go. So I had a friend that lived out in the country. That she would keep Sruffey until I could find a place to go, but he stayed about three days and came looking for me I guess. Never saw the dog again, but I got a call from the dog catcher saying that my dog was where I had lived at one time before..

He Had Traveled over Thirty Miles to Find me!

That is what kind dog he was, I had a girlfriend I would pretend to hit her on the leg and the dog would grab my arm, not bite me, but just pull my arm away from her and stop me from hitting her. This is why I am going to make a brand out of Sruffey's name. Let me tell you this I had a body shop which I repaired and painted cars where I was living. I went out late one night to put some primer on a car so it would be dry in the morning, it took me maybe a hour to do what I needed to do. When I got back to my house, there Sruffey laid next to my girlfriend under the covers, with his head on my pillow. He had a big grin on his face like I have your place and was laughing at me. Like you move you lose, he slept with every night and would hog the bed, I sure do miss that dog.

To honor him, the best dog I have ever had I am making this website. I have a email account with his name on it also, that is how I loved that dog. I hope you like the story, because it is all true. True story and one great dog he was one of a kind. Let me tell you one more thing about Sruffey. He did protect the car he was in, I could even touch the glass of the car he was in and he would be like he was trying to chew through the glass.
