How to add comments to pages on a Wordpress website.

Have you ever been looking for something so hard it was right under your nose and you never saw it only to come back the next day and suddenly it appeared before your eyes?

Recently I was trying to find out how to enable comments on a page in a Wordpress site.I searched for instructions and still couldn’t find an answer.Then suddenly on day two it finally came to me so I thought I would share in case anyone else was looking for the same answer.

(NOTE: This was done on the “Iconic One” Wordpress template.)

Here’s how it’s done:

• 1) While in your Wordpress site, open your dashboard.
  
  

  
• 2) Hover your cursor over the “Pages” tab and click on “All Pages”
  
  

  
• 3) Once on the All Pages screen scroll down to the page title that you would like to enable comments on and hover your cursor over the page title. Then click on “Quick Edit”. (On some browsers you will have to hover your cursor over the chosen page title to see Quick Edit. On other browsers the choices will automatically be shown.)
  
  

  
• 4) On the resulting screen you will see an empty check box titled “Allow Comments”.
  Check this box.
  

  

And that’s it. It's that simple. If you view your site now you should have

a comments box on the page.
