A Journey To 10K Monthly Clicks Within 12 Months

We all know how hard it can be to get a blog from zero monthly total clicks to an average of 10k total clicks within 12 months (yes, 12 months).

Nine months ago, I decided to go all in on one of my websites just to re-test a strategy.

Basically, I just needed to prove to myself that I still knew what I was talking about. Although, with a thought process that if it doesn't work in the end, at least I tried.

The journey of taking the website to a minimum of 10k monthly clicks started in December last year (2021). As I said, my aim is to take the monthly website clicks to 10k by the end of 12 months.

What a journey! Halfway through!

Now the fun part: Monetisation!

As you can see, not much is happening in terms of monetisation for now. I'm sure the income will grow as the traffic increases.

So, what did I learn?

I've always been a big believer in these three factors;

• keyword research,
• Well-structured content,
• Consistency.

These three things have always worked for me, and I continue to use them as my base for more results.

Out of the three factors, keyword research is the primary factor that will either make or break your website traffic result.

If you get the keyword research right and add some good content, you're 70% on the right path to get the results you're aiming for.

My point for saying all these is to encourage someone that you can do it! Although the results look small but will add up over time.

The bottom line is this; have a strategy (a process), and be ready to put in the work (publish more content).
