Online and offline challenge

I'm still wondering if I maybe made a mistake, but more that I process it, more I am sure I'm on the right track. :)

I decided to take my website content a step further and start a diary. And not just an ordinary diary.

I made a hypothesis: I want to lose 20 pounds (cca 9 kilos) of my weight in 30 days! And every day I'll post a report and an instruction on my site.

Luckily enough my husband is taking a month off work and will be at home helping me with our children. That way I'll have more time and possibilities to follow and eventually reach my goal. Too aspiring? I believe not! I'm very confident I can achieve this!

For that purpose I posted a brand new page to my site:

However I do have a question:

What are your experiences with writing blog in form of a diary? Is it prosperous?

And another:

I would like to post a Child Page - how do i do it? I was trying to arrange my pages Parent-Child, but the child page is not seen in the drop-down menu when published... What did I do wrong?
