So It's Not Your Fault
It's Not Your Fault!
IT'S not your fault.
It's NOT your fault,
It's not YOUR fault.
It's not your FAULT.
Have you heard this line recently? Maybe you've read it. It seems to be the latest tag line in all types of advertising. Everywhere I turn someone is trying to tell me something is not my fault and therefore I can have what I don't have now. Since it is someone elses fault that I don't have something or I have failed at something, I can pursue my desires guilt free and without further analysis. After all, it's not my fault something didn't work out.
"It's not your fault" is total gibberish. I am of the absolute belief that anything and everything, short of being victim... read more

Hi Donna, tried to read yr blog but it says "You do not have permission to preview drafts"
I don't understand. It was published over 6 hours ago. Perhaps you will have better luck if you try again. I'd love to know what you think. But if not, I certainly understand with all the activities going on for us this week. Thank you for trying. donna
Donna I couldn't read the rest as I got an error, but what I read I enjoyed, lol! I will stop back! Christa :)
Oh, what a shame. Well, I'm glad you enjoyed what you read. Thank you for linking to the rest and for commenting. My fervent desire is that you have a wonderful, peaceful and Spirit-filled Thanksgiving celebration with your family and other loved ones. donna

Donna, thanks for sharing. My motto recently has been, " We are continual "works" in progress, each one of us." We are ever growing, changing and evolving.
Blessings :)
Yes we are. But in order to have the most effective change, we must acknowledge the bumps in the road, don't you agree? But I was surprised to see that the philosophy began with the world's very first great philosopher, Socrates himself.
Thank you for taking the time to read and comment. It means a great deal to me. donna
I agree. We must acknowledge the bumps in the road, maybe even do some introspective work, but not dwell there too long. Take Care. E.
Oh, you are soooo right. Dwelling does not promote growth. Thanks again for your interest and exchange.
Dear Donna....this blog was just what the doctor ordered! The following really caught my eye and touched my heart:
Today, I urge you to embrace the uniqueness of your journey and know that everything is happening exactly as it should be. It’s ok if you aren’t 100-percent cured by tomorrow. There is immense learning and growth that happens during the darker periods of our lives. A new version of you is being born—it just might take some growing pains to get there.
Thanks for sharing such a powerful message!
Blessings!
Hilda
Thank you for you, Hilda. And I do appreciate you reading my post. Saw all your updates on Google+. You are very, very busy. Good for you. Miss you.
I agree with the others, it's about responsibility and accountability. Accepting those things is part of being an adult, but it seems fewer people want to grow up these days. It's a form of infantilism.
Don't you know it! This was fun to research. Talk about infantilism, what about Socrates?!?
I believe you accountable for your actions. That's the only way you can move forward in life. Thanks for sharing this wonderful post :)
Thank you for reading it. I can always count on you to read my blogs. I appreciate that. Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for reading. The ads are just too much. But then, society hasn't changed as much as I had thought. Interesting, huh?

Hi Donna, I like the way you put it here
IT'S not your fault.
It's NOT your fault,
It's not YOUR fault.
It's not your FAULT.
better than how you have wrote it in one sentence on your site.
Left you a comment, Loes
Hmmm, I didn't even notice that. It got lost in the publish. Oh my. I like the way I wrote it, too. I'll have to fix it. Thanks for brining it to my attention. I have replied to your comment already, unless you left a second one. The one on my site was just as helpful Loes. Thanks for watching out for me. donna
Your welcome Donna
