GOOD NEWS

Hi everyone. So I have been working very steadily attempting to catch up ... don't know how I got behind in emails, but had to catch up with a couple of days backlog. Actually, I do know. I was doing assignments from BootCamp. LOL

So now I have my site looking better...even some rankings on a few pages and ideas on how to improve the others. Kyle is a great teacher.

BAD NEWS

One of the last blogs I read in my burst of catch up...I wouldn't go to bed until my mailbox had no more new mail...was entitled "I'm Retiring." Before I even read it, I thought...not really. This is just another marketing strategy headline.

"Noooo! ! !"

No joke, TGE (Fred) is retiring. I don't know about the rest of you, but I believe this man has made a lasting impression on our community in the very short time he has been here. His many blogs could be used to write a book already. And these blogs are only scratching the surface of his vast knowledge of marketing.

GOOD NEWS

Fred promised to continue sharing his wisdom. I hope his promise does not interfere with his retirement. He deserves it and should absolutely enjoy every second of it without concern for us. But I think he will keep his promise...no, I believe he will as he is a man of incredible integrity. I just know this to be true in my gut.

So Fred, I lift my glass to you...that your retirement be one filled with laughter, love, joy,

hope and most importantly Peace. Peace in the confidence of the rightness of your decision. I shall miss you, but like good friends, I shall encourage you to do the right thing for you and "set you free."

From my heart, thank you for all you have given. You are a very kind and generous man. God Speed.

NOW THE WHAMMY

I am attempting to make a connection in all my "personal" blogs to business. Well, this blog is business. Sometimes, just as we think things are getting well-established, "Whammy" things change. (I think there was a recent post saying the same thing. LOL) So things are changing. Some we like, some not so much. However we have to accept and then adjust. We always have other sources of fabulous information, great people, experienced. I have in mind certain ones who can be relied upon to give us wise guidance. I am adjusted to this change. And looking forward to the continued posts from all sources.

I appreciate your time in reading my personal opinion blog.

Your personal opinion was right on :) I agree with others here- Your blogs are also quite enjoyable,so much so- when's the next one? I knew I liked you from the beginning :)

So kind. Thank you.

As Kim said, "Change is inevitable!" as Phil says, "...except from a vending machine."

LOL

Change is inevitable, but sometimes its for a good reason or a bad one as you so pointed out. I try to go with change in a positive manner. :))

I''m quite adaptable. Must have been as I was a very good active duty military wife and mother. Change can be extremely exciting. But sometimes before the change actually happens, we do ourselves a favor by paying honor to the previous circumstance.

Quite right you are Donna. :))

A wise man said once where you are I was, and where I am you are coming!

Very wise man. I would pay honor to him as well.

Yes, fathers tend to be wiser than us.

Change is just a fact of life - some good, some bad but all help in our growth. I believe everything happens for a reason.

You bet it does.

Nothing is certain except change. UGH I'm not one of those who embraces it immediately. And, yeah, I will definitely miss Fred's daily presence here. But. . . onward and upward, Donna!

You betcha! I felt quite compelled to thank him for his extraordinary contribution. As a military spouse. I adapt very quickly. Comes quite naturally. To me change is exciting.

Hi Donna
I am also sorry to see TGE go, but was heartened that he is still going to "be around". That he has left his stamp and become a dependable spirit and contributor in such a short time makes you realize how much passion and energy he pours into his endeavours, and it is a great example to follow. You are already forging ahead too, Donna, and your blogs have the WOW factor, are fun and interesting to read, too.

What an exciting compliment. You are very kind. Thank you for reading and commenting. Many blessings.

Hi Donna, I read the message of TGE too, I wrote down his name when I need marketing advice:) I will miss him too. His blogs where inspirational, so are yours, thank you, Loes

I'm so happy to see others agree with my assessment. Thank you for the kind words and reading my blogs. It means so much coming from such a wonderful person as you are.

Thanks for this Donna. Yes, it's sad about Fred, but at least he'll be around a bit to inspire us!

You are welcome. Hope all is well on your side of the world.

Hi Donna, You have a way of doing things that truly inspire me to emulate your actions and words. Such wisdom on your post and so perfectly well said. Thank you. Danny

My oh my, what extraordinary words. You leave me speechless. Thank you. Wishing you great success...and if my life experience can help you along yours, Praises! Every success and hardship is well worth it to help one soul succeed. Thank you again.

All you got to do, is be here at WA, and you will have me eating out of your hand. Have a splendid Friday.
