I am a firm believer in planning, in creating strategies and in setting goals. To accomplish these steps, it takes a lot of organizing.

So here are 3 tools I use daily, and some even hourly.

These tools will help you set goals, whether long term, short term or current.

You can create strategies and plans and then set up your ToDo list. All these tools let you add images. I am a visual person, so this is important to me. Check them out, see if any of them can help you make your day easier :)

Hey Sonja, as always, you shared some more great resources. Thank you! Another simple and solid app that I use for the iPhone is called Wunderlist. I believe it is available for Droid too. It's the best mobile to-do, organization, scheduling app I've come across in a while. I am definitely going to check out some of these resources too! All the best!

Awesome, I shall check it out, always interested in Lists and Task apps :)

Love your website and thanks for the organising tools idea.

Interesting. I have a long history in manufacturing. Kan Ban was developed by the Japanese as a manufacturing improvement system. It will root out any bottlenecks or inefficiencies in a production line. You can identify which steps in the process are taking too long or are not meeting the quality standards for that step. The rule was that nothing moves to the next step unless it meets all the standards. A goal for the entire production line is set. If the process has 10 steps, then all steps must perform to standard for the line to run. If any step fell behind, the entire line would stop. All effort was then focused on the substandard process before the production line could start again.

There is a process to everything you do in maintaining your business. The Kan Ban gives you a quick visual as to how to allocate your time for those tasks.

Thank you Sonja.
All the best,
Brandon

Thank you for this Sonja. I'm completely NOT organised. I've never kept a diary. I write things on scraps of paper and lose them. The funny thing is my house is incredibly neat and tidy.

I must do better!

Hey if it works for you :) My boss used to be the messiest, un-ordered person I know, and yet he was super effective. But, for goals, and plans and strategies and Todos maybe you need a little more

I'm sure I do!

Thank you for the post/blog. I have been looking for great posts like this to help me. Thanks so much for taking your time to create and share this information. Robin.

Thanks for the kind comment Robin

Very Nice blog post. I too am a big Evernote user and very visual as well. I ended up choosing KanbanFlow. I have been using a program called www.taskclone.com for awhile now and it connects Evernote with a multitude of Task and project managers.
You just enter a task (anywhere) in Evernote with a checkbox and sync Evernote and the task will port (clone) over to your task/project manager. It is a excellent productivity tool.
I have heard of MindMeister but have not yet tried it.
Just added it to Evernote as a task with a link back to your blog post. :) -Kevin

Awesome, I love task management/helping tools so I shall check that out. And yes, I would be lost without my Evernote, Thanks for the comment

This sounds like a great way to stay organized, Thank you for the info Sonja.

I have to say you are very organised

I am a Virgo, and German born, it's in my blood :)

I love these ideas and can't wait to check out Kan Ban! Thanks so much, Sonja!
