If you do not have a "regular" job outside WA, then this is not for you!

But if you have… then it might be worth reading this!

I'm a Boss. Probably a soft one.

I might not be one of those that would give you night mares and keep you up at night, but I'm still the boss in the company I run. Being a boss is great, but it also gives me headaches. Our company needs to perform, deliver and create results.

…and I can assure you that it is not strees free.

Since my company is situated one several locations on this planet, I use Skype, What's app, email, CRM systems, Phone, Signal etc to communicate on a daily basis.

The other day I said to my staff: A lot of companies' are letting people off because the economic situation is tough. A lot of people are invited into the boss, or some staff member, to get the bad news: We do really appreciate your good work, and you have done a great job for the company… but we are sorry to tell you that we have to let you go.

… I'm a Boss, and I'm "proud of being one". I love my people and I would do all that is in my power to keep them and to make the time working with us - worth it. It should be fun and joy and work (of course).

I would have loved this, as a Boss!

A mail Box full of ideas, small or big, crap or not. I would have loved to get this Headline once in a while:

arthur, I do believe you should take a look at this!

or

arthur, I do believe I have a good idea on some adjustments that we can make to get more business and even more happy clients!

So. Now you know what a Boss (at least one) loves.

If you have learned anything within WA, it might be some great insight for the company you are working in. It might get your company more happy clients. How does the companies' website communicate with potential customers? Does it have a lead page? Is it just a static web page that has not been updated for years? How can it engage? Can we get potential customers on our email list and follow up with them? Do we use Pinterest? Does the company make some tweets?

I'm not going to give any personal opinions on a certain president, but it looks as if that president is running a pretty huge country by tweeting. Maybe your Boss should not go down that route, but does your company make a difference? Does it stand out?

Do not quit your regular job until you can make a great living online.

… and until then - help your Boss!

You do probably know more about online marketing than him or her!

I'm not sure if this was of any use,

but consider thinking a few seconds, minutes about it.

I'm a Boss, and my mail box is not packed with suggestions.

There is a definite case for creating an eco-environment to manage the managers, that we come into contact with.

One of the positives can be to add that value and start creating that invisible bank balance it does pay dividends, way in excess of the market rate.

Just a thought, to create an inbox full of suggestions invitation can work a treat.

Thanks for sharing Arthur, we can all create that value, that adds value to our journeys.

Great advice! I work closely with my boss and make suggestions all the time. In fact I taught him to use ArcGIS mapmaking software which he now uses every day.

You are correct that we should not quit our jobs until we are well set up online and making a GOOD income. In the meantime, be a good employee!

Good suggestions, I agree with what you said.
Darren :)
