Ok so I've been fiddling around with a few different plug in now for one of my websites. I have paid member subscriptions as my plug in. I filled out prices and currency. It added pages for me which was awesome. However I can't get them to show properly. And also I was wondering what PayPal plug in would work with this? I don't want people to be seeing the code I want them to see the buttons for paying etc and their actual profile page.

i don't use that plugin ( I use S2Member)... However, looking at the website for it.. It appears you may want one of these plugins to go with it:
Powerful Add-ons

Paid Member Subscriptions has a range of premium Add-ons that allow you to extend the power of the plugin:

Recurring Payments for PayPal Standard - accept recurring payments from your members through PayPal Standard
PayPal Pro & PayPal Express - accept one-time or recurring payments through PayPal Pro (credit card) and PayPal Express Checkout
Stripe Gateway - accept credit card payments, both one-time and recurring, directly on your website via Stripe"

Hi Alicia, I would think that you could go to PayPal, create a payment button and then paste the code for the payment button in the page or post where you want it at your site. I have used the payment buttons for many years on my sites.
Thanks
Joe

That's one way to do, but then you'll have to manually unlock and lock each part/portion/post/page manually and then activate it as each member signs up and pays.

Hey Nothando! There's an amazing plug-in that I'm currently using and recommend. It allows you to create different membership levels and the rate ($) for each. It'll lock content for you and unlock content as a user pays for access. It's called wpemember. Like I said, I use it myself in my own site for the product I created and it's been a godsend. Check out YouTube to see how you set the plug-in up. That's my two cents
