Eddie Rickenbacker said "Think positively and masterfully, with confidence and faith, and life becomes more secure, more fraught with action, richer in achievement and experience."
I love these words from this great American war hero and aviator of WW1. He also said,: "Courage is doing what you are afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you're scared." I have been very proud of my family members and myself when we have done "hard things".
Over the years our family motto has become: "I/we can do hard things", as we collectively or each on his/her own has faced challenges.

When we are courageous enough to pursue a challenging situation that stretches us we become more confident that we can achieve the next hard thing until we reach a plateau we are aiming for, then on and on with new confidence and courage.
Isn't it amazing what a few successful experiences will do for our individual psyche, it makes us more determined to do more. When we make up our minds to pay the price for success we can achieve what we believe.
