I asked AI to create a text based game similar to Zork.
It created the story to Explore a House.
I built it for the Mac and iPad but I asked if it could also be web based. Using GitHub it now exists online using the same code base.
I asked it to add a story for Exploring the Town and told it the town had a butcher, a bakery, and a fish monger. I added that a local cat loves to get a fish from the fish monger.
AI built the story around a shopping list from the cook at the local Inn. The task is to go to each shop and pick up what the cook needs. Bring each item back to her before getting the next item.
It's quick to play and there are Hints. If it shows you items, pick them up. If it shows you a mailbox or an open window, open them, go through the window. If there is a rug, move it.
In the town it's around a village square, so you go east, west, north, and south to navigate. (Don't forget to give the cat a fish!)
AI tells me I could build off this game and make it visual and add cities. I would need to create the artwork, so that's for another time.
