Do you remember the Spymac Community?

Years ago, when I lived in Tokyo, I switched from Sony/Windows to Apple/Mac. My problem was that all new Windows software released was only in Japanese, and I had to wait a long time to get an English version, across the city, with a limited selection. The iPod was released, and it required a Mac, so I bought an iBook. I was amazed that I could change the language, re-boot it, and everything worked perfectly. Apple shipped the same CD around the world on the launch day, and I never had to go without.
I then started looking online, and found Spymac, which was a very nice, Mac oriented community of global members. I would primarily connect with them when I got home in the evenings in Tokyo, and they would be getting to work/waking up in Europe/US during my night.
Spymac was a very creative and helpful community, very much like this. It had a growth spurt around 2004/2006, then it shut down. I was lucky enough to know some of the other members in person, from the US/UK/London/Switzerland.

It would not surprise me if someone here also remembers Spymac.
We had the 'Shout Box' on the right, like the live chat, so this is like going home again, but I'm wondering where my friends have gone. I don't mind, because I've met new friends here.
On Spymac, my name was Skogarr (a mix of my last and first names).
