Well, I can hardly believe I finally tried the Gutenberb block editor. I try not to consider myself old-fashioned and slow to progress, but I know that I am.
So I was going to write a post about finally trying the block editor. I was searching for a good featured image to add to the post and I came across Spectra. I read a little about it and discovered it may just be the thing that completely sells me on the block editor.
So, I decided to install it right away. After installation, there is a video that begins immediately. As I was watching the video, I became more and more enthralled with this new addition to the block editor.

Now, I will be able to customize my pages just the way I've always wanted to without having to worry about stuff like tables or plugins to create the types of pages I've always had to bypass because I didn't know how to create them with the current options in block editor or even classic editor.
I've never really tried any third-party page builders because I didn't want to take too much time learning how to use them. But Spectra seems quite easy and intuitive. It's built right on top of the block editor, so everything seems pretty much the same except you have a lot more customization options!
I think I'm really going to like this new block editor plugin!
